Month of July- Parker's 2nd Birthday.

So, Parker is 2. Time sure does fly. Nothing too special about his birthday... just the 4 of us celebrated at home. But, I did want to share some pictures and tid-bits about Parker...
By the pictures, you can tell he is "into" Thomas the train, he is surprisingly vocal... talks in sentences and communicates really well. He is sleeping in a "big boy" bunk bed with his brother (as of a few nights ago), he loves to jump, eats any food that is given to him and he LOVES our dog, Pepper. Next step- potty training! :)

Month of July- Hume Lake.

We had so much fun on our annual trip to Hume. We were blessed to have family and friends there... we ran into friends we didn't even know would be there! The boys had fun riding the toys (they started fighting over riding the motorcycle with daddy... mama on the quad became chopped liver... I gotta learn how to ride that thing!)
We fed the ducks, swam in the pool, tried to catch frogs and tadpoles, and ate shakes every night... yum! We also went on a canoe ride, played Mexican Train, had slurpees, cleaned up throw up every night except one (stomach bug), found deer in the meadow, napped in the hammock, celebrated Parker's 2nd birthday, cut down forest branches, bought Landon's first Webkinz, and did I mention ate shakes every night?? Enjoy the pictures...

Month of July- Moving.

Well, we are finally settled in after moving... we have cabinets in the garage, most of the boxes cleared away, bins organized, kitchen unpacked and functioning, towels in the linen closet, clean sheets on the beds and bunk beds set up for the boys. WHEW! We even managed to be at Hume Lake this past week for our annual trip. Not to mention 3 of us have had the stomach flu! That is an awful lot to pack into the month of July, but we did it! Here are some pictures to enjoy...

Moving.

Yes, moving does stink. But, at this place in the game I have to remind myself of the positives...

1. it's a time to purge old/never used/taking up space junk. I love that.
2. people come out of the woodwork to help. we couldn't have done this without a lot of you.
3. i am more organized than i care to admit (and I think it drives my husband crazy, yet he's thankful at the same time).
4. we get to live where we desire to be (Santa Clarita- here we come!)
5. i realize God has provided more than I oculd ever need... amen.

So, another one of life's journeys begin. This weekend we are moving 100 miles to be where our hearts have been for a long time. There are several sacrifices involved, but we know God will provide and is completely in control.
PACK IT UP!
