We felt a part of the community today as we set out to check out the Tour of California AMGEN cycling race... we have no clue what we were looking at, but had a great time anyway! :)

Rainy days must make me crafty because I get itchy to do a project. Well, I found these pacifier holders on etsy.com that sold for $10 each and of course I thought... "I could make that!" I actually called my mom first to see if she could sew them for me, but once I collected all the stuff I decided to try my own hand (and Joel's!) at them. What makes them unique is the attachment for the paci... they will work for soothies and for regular pacifiers. Don't look too closely... They're not perfect, but they'll work! BTW, you know you have a great daddy when he's willing to sew for his little girl. :) So, here they are...

Parker, who is 2 1/2 and needs every bit of his 2 hour daily nap, decided not to take one the other day. To our surprise, at about 6:30pm this was the scene...

He had fallen asleep on Landon while watching Tom & Jerry. How cute is that!

Anaheim 3 Supercross

We braved the rain and headed out to the Anaheim Supercross today. Everyone thought we were crazy, because un-like most people, we did not go to watch the racing. The motocross industry is dear to our heart after traveling with the series for 5 years, so we went all day just to visit with old friends. It was great to be in the pits again -- waving and nodding to familiar faces. We left the track at about 4:30- just before the track walk and night time activities were to begin. What a perfect day!
