LEGOS

Landon got his 1st LEGO kit today! We started easy (not sure what we were gtting into). I never knew how GREAT LEGOS are for little boys... step by step directions with pictures... having to pay attention to every little detail. Thankfully, Joel was working from home today and got to relive his childhood by helping Landon. He was full of stories about him and his brother Jeremy and how they would spend hours in their room playing LEGOS. I can only wish for the day!! Enjoy the pictures...

Surprise Party

On Saturday we pulled off a surprise party for Landon, who turned 5. He had been asking for one for months- a funny request for a kid, but he LOVED it! So, my oldest is 5. WOW. Time does fly...

Last Drive

Well, after 1 1/2 years of trying to sell this car, we finally sold it. Even though it took so long to sell, it was a blessing for many people (including us) to have the extra car. It actually was a bit sad... saying good-bye to my first "mom" car. Here's me driving the wagon for the last time...

Being Pregnant Together

I have shared pregnancies with many friends, but never a sister. Unfortunately, my blood sister has older kids, so we never were in this phase together. I am SO thankful however, that my sister-in-law and I (who are as close as real sisters) can share this time in our lives together. She is due 4 weeks before me and we are both expecting our 3rd. She and her husband -- the brave and patient ones have decided not to find out the gender of their baby. AHH! I, the not so patient and wanting to know everything is finding out Nov. 10th. YEA! Joel of course sides with his sister, but that's a different story. We were together this past week, so I thought I would share our bellies...

AWANA Cubbies

Landon has started Cubbies this year and absolutely loves it. They have story time, craft time, play time and workbook time. He has been memorizing scripture like crazy... which makes a mom proud!

Pumpkin Patch
