TMC Soccer Camp

This week is Master's College night soccer camp. It officially marks the one year mark for us living here in Santa Clarita. Landon participated last year... the very 1st month we moved here. Next year, Parker will be old enough.

Some of My Favorites

Hayley is turning 4 months this week... WOW! Time does fly. She smiles constantly, started giggling and is trying to sit up. She loves the Exersaucer and tolerates the Bumbo chair. She has already attached herself to her little "lovey" (blankie) and has slept 8pm-7am since she was 8 weeks old. She is not a good napper, only taking 45 minute naps through-out the day, but we're going to work on that! We are so thankful for her and she is an amazing addition to our family!

Tooth Drama

Landon had bit of a tooth issue this past week. Both of his front teeth were so loose that they dies and turned black. See picture #1

While waiting for the homemade ice cream (see previous post), this is what the boys were doing... I guess I have chosen other battles than the one "don't jump on the couch".

Summer Sundays

Ahhhh... 8:30am church service-- a time of refreshing teaching from Pastor Scott, then off to the grocery store after church to pick up fresh fruits and veggies for the week and home to make "Sunday dinner". Today, we also made homemade vanilla ice cream and strawberry jam. I Heart Summer...

I couldn't resist taking a million pictures of Hayley in this cute bow... I have officially turned to the dark side (of girl fashion, that is!)

Vacation Pictures

Most of you have seen our vacation pictures on Facebook. If you haven't seen them... check them out there (it takes too long to upload them here). :)
I laugh at some of the comments I have gotten about our vacation, like... "where was that bed and breakfast where you had the whole pool to yourself?" or "Where in California can you DRIVE on the beach?"
So, here's the scoop...
Joel works with this man "Joe" in the automotive paint industry. Whenever Joel travels north for PPG, he stays at this guy's house in the guest apartment. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and a full kitchen. Joe has offered it to our family many times, so we decided to take him up on it. It just so happens that Joe and his family left that week for their own vacation. So, we were amazed to have the whole place to ourselves! It is 10 minutes from downtown Solvang among the most beautiful rolling hills and wineries. He left us the keys to the main house, pool, apartment and garage full of toys (motorcycles etc.). We were gone for 5 days, took amazing pictures, made tons of memories, enjoyed a day at the zoo, visited Neverland (ha ha) and amazingly only spent $350! How can you beat that??!!

Oh, by the way-- the place we drove on the beach is a 5 mile Recreational Park that you have to pay to get into... of course, only in California! It is in Pismo Beach called Oceano Dunes.

One more thing-- we did not have our own personal photographer. :) All the pictures of all 5 of us were taken by Self-Timer on the camera!!
