One of our kid's future parking spot on the WB lot.

The whole group of kiddos... they all did so great. A lot of walking and a lot of "no touching". We also got to go into the WB museum, but no cameras or purses were allowed. They had tighter security than the US government! We saw the original costumes of Batman, The Joker, Where the Wild Things are and multiple costumes and props from Harry Potter. The cupboard under the stairs where Harry Potter lived with his Aunt & Uncle was there... pretty cool!

So, my friends... that is what our family has been up to this month. Sorry I do not have more time to blog, but my goal is to update at least once a month. I love sharing pictures with how the kids are growing and the activities they get to participate in. So keep checking to see what's new!

Landon's 7th Birthday Party

This was Landon's 1st year to have a friend-only party. I must admit, I am very fearful of birthday parties. They can get so out of control... throwing them and going to them. So, under hesitation I decided to "try " throwing Landon one that was simple.

He invited 7 friends from school for a movie-themed party. Our feature film was "How to Train Your Dragon". We made "cars" for the kids to sit in like a drive in movie theatre, we exchanged tickets for concessions and had hot dogs for dinner. We had a coloring station for "down-time", served a popocorn cake (thanks Kim Knapp for the idea!) and even borrowed a popcorn machine (thanks Kim Family). We had 3 stretching/bathroom breaks and served seconds and thirds of popcorn. Last minute, I even thought to start my crock pot (thanks Jenny!) with some bean & chicken soup for the few parents that stayed to visit. Lots of yummy food = happy guests!

We all had a great time... and I might actually do it again!

We are so blessed to have a great team with some really nice families. Joel is coaching, I am the Team Mom and we have 2 families of which we have been on a team with before. Joel also has 2 dads who act as Assistant Coach. We're in for a great season!
