Update...

OK, I haven't blogged in awhile, so here's a little update for you of our end of the school year/summer.

In May, Joel got to go to the Vegas Supercross with his dad & brothers, we had all 3 children dedicated to the Lord at Shadow Mountain Community Church in San Diego (our home church), we got to be apart of celebrating my sister Yvonne's graduation from Dental Hygiene School as well as our sister-in-law Eva's master's program graduation, we went to Disneyland with my side of the family for 4 days and enjoyed a "stay"-cation, and lastly, we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary! We also finished up MOPS and AWANA.

In June, we started the month with an amazing Marriage Conference in Pasadena (no kids for the weekend!), we started registering for Fall activities, we finished our kindergarten school year, we had 2 weeks of swim lessons, and 1 week of Vacation Bible School. Let the summer begin!

In July, we felt like we were on one big vacation! We started the month by going to Hume Lake for the 4th of July weekend, found a new surgeon for Hayley's hernia, enjoyed Mountasia (our Family Fun Center- miniature golf etc), the boys spent 3 days with my parents in Ventura, spent 9 days at Lake Powell on a houseboat with Joel's side of the fam, went to Magic Mountain, celebrated Parker's BD and had 4 yr. old pictures taken, and finally, went to Solvang for 3 days with my sister Yvonne.

So far in August, we have gotten home from Solvang, had Joel's cousin stay the weekend with us, saw some old friends who were visiting from Texas, shopped for school, celebrated Joel's BD, started school, had Hayley's epigastric hernia, had Grammy stay with us, we've gone to Travel Town and tonight I finish my Women's Summer Bible Study.

Whew! Is that enough catching up for you? I didn't even mention the random doctor's appts, play dates, times we met my parent's for dinner, pool times and yogurt runs we made! :) Hope you all had a wonderful summer. Cheers to getting back into a routine!

Next week my BIG 4 year old will be starting Grace Kids... a mommy & me preschool that meets once a week. I am very excited to make new memories with my little guy. They do grow up SO fast!

Boys live here...

Lately I have been taking random pictures of things that only boys would do... this is for my sister Michele who thinks my boys are a crack-up. That is only because she does not have to live with them!! Look closely at the pictures... I bet you can't even GUESS what half of them are!

10th Anniversary

On May 27, 2010 Joel and I celebrated our 10th anniversary. We were on a stay-cation with my fam at Disneyland, so we celebrated a little late.

To celebrate, we attended a Weekend to Remember conference put on by Family Life that was amazing. In the last session, the even renewed our vows! We had a whole weekend in Pasadena without kids. We found a cute coffee shop, a French bakery, went shopping at the mall, had date night and saw a movie, went in the jacuzzi at the hotel until closing (10pm!!) and just enjoyed being together. We also exchanged gifts which is something we hardly ever do, but was so meaningful and fun.

But, Joel was able to bustle the train, which we were never able to do at the wedding.
