Ventura

We met my parents for dinner in Ventura last week... they are on their way up north to visit my mom's best girlfriend in Washington state. We had a great time walking on the beach, eating clam chowder and opening presents (they brought Landon's BD gifts to him early).

Pumpkin Patch

We played hookie from church on Sunday, originally because we weren't feeling well. But, we didn't want to be stuck inside all day, either. So, we took our annual trip to Lombardi's Ranch. Fortunately, it's right up the road and it's enough entertainment for an hour or so. The boys rode ponies and we all took the train ride. Our main goal was to let Landon take a photograph to enter in his school's contest. The theme is "beauty is...". We thought that on a perfect fall day he would be able to capture some beauty.
