Oobi

For those of you with young kiddos and watch the Noggin channel, you might have heard of "Oobi". It's a strange, but fascinating show of hand people... you know, pretending to talk with your hands. Both of my boys have their version of Oobi. They take Mr. Potato Head eyeballs and put them between their fingers. Pretty smart, really. Here is Parker's version of Oobi. If you've never seen the show, try Tivo-ing it one of these days! :)

Party In Your Mouth

So, tonight we had the BEST dessert ever! COOKIES! But, I call these "Party in your Mouth" cookies... they had oatmeal, choc. chips, vanilla chips, coconut, and almonds (among the regular ingredients)-- YUM! The boys loved them (of course).
(Please excuse the bad hair/no makeup --- just got out of the shower- Yikes!)

Paseos

These are some pictures of us heading to a neighborhood pool down the paseo paths. Valencia has these winding walking trails that interlink the whole valley. A neat bonus for the boys... they can run and ride bikes with no fear of cars. The second picture is Joel holding Parker back from running down a steep hill. I was cracking up because Parker runs EVERYWHERE and hardly falls. Paranoid dad (for once) was trying to hold him back... not so easy!
